    Since its begining in 1994, one of the basic missions of the Institution has been discovering new artistic talents and treasures. Over the years, the basic fields of the Institution's activities have become: the organization of the annual Upper Silesian Festival of Chamber Art — Ars Cameralis Festival, as well as promotion of the Silesian culture and art in Poland and abroad.

    For over thirty years the Festival has become the cultural showcase of the region. Thanks to its formula, which combines events from almost all fields of the art, it has gained a crowd of devoted fans who visit Silesian cities every November.

    Throughout the years, the Institution has organized and co-organized a number of artistic events, just to mention exhibitions of works by Pablo Picasso, David Lynch, Roland Topor, Kishin Shinoyama, Roman Cieślewicz, Zofia Rydet, Jake and Dinos Chapman. The Institution was also responsible for promotional projects of the Silesian Voivodeship.

  • Publishing

    Poetry / Albums / Cataloges / Music albums

    The Institution has published several dozen books: volumes of poetry, photo albums, exhibition catalogs, music albums, as well as a historical comic book devoted to Wojciech Korfanty. The Institution values the form of the books, so all publications are carefully designed. The Institution has won numerous awards for its publications (including the German Design Awards or the European Design Awards).

Activity

Throughout the years Ars Cameralis Festival has become a cultural showcase of the region. Its interdisciplinarity, complex form and diverse program won over many fans.
